ICM-autoKite

Laying foundations for automatic operation of kites for AWE systems

Content

The German company OCEANERGY AG is developing a concept to produce hydrogen or synthetic CO2-neutral e-fuels from kite-powered ships. These KITE GAS/FUEL SHIPS would use reliable high-power mid-ocean winds to produce affordable hydrogen and e-fuels.

The ICM-autoKite Project is the successor project of KiteFlug Modul1 and provides the scientific background for the development of the kite-propulsion-AWE system and its scaling.
