Job Description:

In the group “Test and Measurement” research activity concentrates on improving measurement procedures for applications around wind turbine such as sound emission assessment, power curve and load evaluation, and measurements in complex terrain. Main focuses are infrasound measurement procedures and wind LIDAR and UAV-based measurements. Within the national funded research project “TremAc” (Objective Criteria for Vibration and Noise Emissions of on-shore Wind Plants) sound measurements are carried out around wind turbines.

Your responsibilities are:

  • To plan measurement campaigns and develop innovative ideas for new measurements technique.
  • To carry out sound emission/immission and vibration measurements based on standard procedures together with wind measurements.
  • To analysis measurements results in terms of infrasound and amplitude modulation as well as to evaluate sound propagation at different distances from turbines.
  • To find a correlation between vibration and sound measurements around wind turbines.
  • To support organization aspects of actual and new projects in the field of acoustics.
  • To support other research projects within the group, especially in the area of wind LIDAR measurements.
  • To support teaching activity inside the institute

Candidate Profile:

  • Master degree or PhD (or equivalent degree) in the field of acoustics (environmental acoustics/building acoustics), physics, mechanical or environmental engineering, wind energy or an equivalent course of studies with previous knowledge in technical acoustic and data processing.
  • Affinity for practical work and field work related to measurements.
  • Basic knowledge in wind energy and structural dynamics is a plus.
  • High motivation and capacity to work individually as well as to be a very good team player
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and German languages.

Im Bereich Fertigungstechnologie Faserverbundwerkstofffertigung und Werkstoffprüfung suchen wir Verstärkung.

Sie bearbeiten ein eigenständiges mehrjähriges Projekt mit einem unserer Kunden aus der Luftfahrt- oder Automobilindustrie und übernehmen in gleichem Maße Aufgaben in unserem Faserverbund-Team / Textilteam.

Thematische Schwerpunkte sind:

  • Die Entwicklung und Verbesserung von Fertigungsverfahren für Faserverbundwerkstoffen mit kurzen Taktzeiten.
  • Die Entwicklung von QS-Maßnahmen  für Fertigungsprozesse Faserverbundwerkstoffen.
  • Die Entwicklung geschlossener, integrierter Prozesse Bauteil-Anforderung, Bauteil-Design, Bauteil-Fertigungstechnologie.


Bewerberprofil:
 

  • Hohes Maß an Teamfähigkeit sowie eine hartnäckige, ausdauernde und flexible Persönlichkeit mit hohem Selbstantrieb
  • Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (vorzugsweise Luft- Und Raumfahrttechnik) im Bereich Leichbau / Flugzeugbau (Faserverbund-) Werkstofftechnik.
  • Nachweislich praktische Erfahrung im Bereich der Herstellung von Composite-Bauteilen (Preforming / Infiltration).
